Questions! Come Comment Me!

Journalism Annotation Assignment
Directions:

1. Read the article (it’s yours to keep).
2. Annotate the article (highlight, underline, make notes in the margins) as you read it.
3. Answer the following questions on this handout:

A. What is the article about?

In my eyes, this acticle is about a homeless man who impacted many lives, all in a good way. He loved to talk to people, about anything, accept himself. He was loved for who he was, and not for money, looks, or where he came from. He showed people there is more to life then fame, and who you knew. Just reading the acticle gave me the chills!

B. What do you think about the material/information in this article? How does it seem to fit with our journalism class?

I think this acticle is very well written. It relates to our jounalism class because Peter Applebome told this mans story in his own words. He used quotes to also add to the story to make it even more stronger. This article helps our class see a clear-cut article.

C. What questions are you left with? What kind of articles in journalism would you like to read next?

I'm left with the question...What really happened to his "real" family?
